~ Curious Adventurers ~

As of late it seems the matter of my past has been most prominent in discussion. Until the past few turns, I haven't been very vocal about it. Since I set foot again in Valorn my main concern has been the new troubles that have come about. Only second to that is familiarizing myself with what seems like an influx of newer, eager adventurers. I recently had lunch at Cerbie's with a new adventurer who has actually began to become somewhat of a good acquaintance. She spoke of her past and her childhood cottage in the plains. Her and a few other adventurers have recently asked about why I wear the pink clothing I do. The story behind the sentimental clothing was published in my journal long ago but has seem to have been lost. I suppose I will add it to the list of old entries yet to be republished. Anyways, I told the tale of the clothing and she seemed very inquisitive about my friends in that day of age. She asked why I hadn't spoken or written of them upon my return and I told her the reasons stated before. As my memories were told, I couldn't help but exile a few tears from my eyes. The ever-so vivid memories brought me happiness to recall them, but also some were melancholy. It was great to speak of Jon and his lovely bonded Ivy, as well as Gar and Valera. All of the long lost friends seemed to come to life and fill the empty grill almost. I told her the tales of The Beacon and its wondrous hall, she seemed very enlightened of the subject. The adventurer asked if one day us both could revive The Beacon and have it flourish; but I did not want to let her down with my unsure feelings. She obviously did not spot my new pendant denoting my recent affiliation with Serendipitous Resurrection.

I have also been helping Lillya hunt for crystals. I have not much use for them, and now the guardians see me as a far tougher opponent for some reason. After an unsuccessful encounter, we decided to take a rest in our position in the Ice Caverns. We held mostly a general conversation, then she brought up a tender subject. I had only said one statement, and even with that it seemed like she pierced through my skull. She told me my newest deepest secret. I turned the deepest shade of red. How could she have figured it out? I have tried to conceal it the best I could, around her, the person it concerns, in my journal, and everywhere else. However, being the good friend she is, she told me how I possibly might be able to do something about it. After my heartbeat and mind had settled, I told her some about my past. A story that has not been told, only written the beautiful day five, possibly six summers ago. LW; the only to have claimed my heart thus far as well as the only to shatter it into pieces. An Amazonian I was to be bonded to, who had left me only marcs before the ceremony. I had not just told this story out of the blue, however. It had tied into the matter of my secret. It had great relevance to one of the clues Lillya had told me. Only time will tell in the outcome of the situation I have gotten myself into. I pray and hope for the best. All in all, it has been good for me to talk about my past these last few turns. Soon I shall republish some entries about them.
Until later,

Today I spent much of my time exploring the catacombs close to the western mountains. I am not sure what the creatures were that had inhabited the area, but they were rather odd. They had tried to take me to an even stranger, green room inside the caverns but I had managed to fight them off for the time being. I had made the mistake of looking back before I exited the catacombs, only to find the creatures had multiplied. I was fairly eager to get away from there, as I did not want to be abducted and held captive. On the outskirts of the site, I encountered what looked to be a child of the odd species enclosed in the cavern. It gave me a laugh; the creature seemed to be keeping guard but saw the greenish goo all over my armor and weapons and ran off letting off a strange noise in a scared tone. I decided to stop at Jensen's retreat in the mountains before I went too far, he had tended to what little wounds I had, and helped clean myself up. He told me that I was not the only adventure to come in that reeked of rotten eggs or was covered in that goo. His statement left me with relief, but still I found myself pondering what risk these odd creatures may present.

I had decided to stop in the Ice Caverns to cool myself off. I had dozed off for a few marcs, and found that it was already dark out. I decided to show Ural the moves I had used to get myself out of trouble with the strange beings. He decided to advance me, and taught me new and more difficult moves that I need to master. I also had learned my brand new armour was outdated. Now, a few thousand plat later, I am with the current, but my coin purse is quite lighter. With all my recent events, I am eager to see what happens next, and just as eager to write about it.
Until then,
